Spartan/Rosenbauer 1250/1000 Custom Pumper

Battleboro Community Volunteer Fire Department, Nash County, North Carolina

BATTLEBORO– Battleboro Community VFD in Nash County, NC has taken delivery of a new Rosenbauer Top Mount Pumper.  The truck was built on a Spartan Gladiator LFD chassis with a 10″ raised roof and is powered by a Cummins ISL 425hp engine.  The cab has a rear door for direct access to the top mount pump panel walkway and Spartan’s “extreme duty” interior.  The truck carries 1000 gallons and is outfitted with a Waterous CS 1250 gpm pump.   The truck is also equipped with a Form Pro 2002 system.   The pump compartment has low mounted triple speedlays and a storage area for backboards.  The all aluminum body provides internal storage for ladders, suction hose, and a Fol-Da-Tank.  Lighting includes Whelen LED warning lights, a Whelen Pioneer brow light on the cab and other recessed scene lights on the cab.   The truck is also equipped with winch receivers on all four sides and an 8kW Harrison hydrulic generator.
